Andy Biersack's Biography
Andy moved from Wisconsin to Cincinnati, Ohio. He currently lives in Hollywood, California.
Height: 6.2.
His parents' names are Amy and Chris.
He was known as Andy Six but in April 2011, he decided that he wanted to be called Andy Biersack, as it's his real name. He said: "It's not necessarily like I'm trying to abolish the name Andy Six. I don't mind if people call me that as it's always been a nickname. The name was always like a defense mechanism when I was a kid, but I no longer have to hide behind that. I'm very happy with who I am and what I've created".
At the age of 14, he formed the band Biersack with a few friends, but it didn't last long. They played songs of Alkaline Trio and The Misfits. Although people enjoyed what they were doing, he needed to move on, so he started a new band: Brides. He changed the name later to Black Veil Brides. He's the only original member. He started this band in 2006.
Apart from singing, he can also play the bass.

Attended Ohio school of creative and performing arts 2003/2006.
He majored in drama in high school.
In school, he wrote the words "never give in" on the inside of his hand to remind him of his strength.
Andy's father played in a punk band called The Edge, he watched him play and learned how to play some instruments.
In 2005, he moved to Burbank, CA, to model and he acted in several commercials, such as AT&T and Montana Meth.
He's against drugs, and will kick out any band members that do drugs.
He's dated actress Scout Taylor-Compton and model Hannah Beth. He is now in a relationship with singer Juliet Simms, from Automatic Loveletter.
He has a lot of tattoos.
He loves animals.

One of his role models is: Nikki Six, from Motley Crüe.

He's atheist, although he was raised in a Catholic home and went to church regularly.
Andy was overweight as a child, so at the age of 13, he decided to lose weight and have his own style, making people bully him. So that's why, through his songs, he wants people that are being bullied to not care what other people tell them or think about them, to be strong and to be themselves.
